A Church on the Move!

Cornerstone Church is making big changes over the next few months as we transition all church activities to the property at 20740 Old Cutler Road, the former Cutler Ridge UMC site. Here are a few FAQs to bring you up to speed:
Has the US-1 church property (18301 South Dixie Hwy) been sold?

We are under contract to sell the property to a developer. We have agreed to close on the sale on February 1, 2018. We must vacate the property entirely before then.

When will we move?

A number of ministries and activities have already been taking place on the Old Cutler church property (20740 Old Cutler Rd). Because there is so much to be moved, we have scheduled several dates for church volunteers to help relocate items. Please watch for these dates and help as you are able!

When is our last Sunday at US-1?

Our last Sunday to worship at the US-1 property will be January 14, 2018. We will have abbreviated Traditional (9:30-10:15) and Contemporary (11:15-12:00) worship services for that day. Between services (10:15-11:15) we will have brunch together in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for a special time of fellowship, memories, and anticipation!

When is our first Sunday at Old Cutler?

We will begin worshiping at the Old Cutler property (corner of Old Cutler and Marlin) on January 21, 2018. We will resume our usual Traditional (9:30-10:30) and Contemporary (11:00-12:00) worship schedule. Since the sanctuary has not yet been renovated, we will worship in Rudy Chapel, which is located near the driveway on Old Cutler Road.

How can I help?

• Spread the word! Make sure familiar church friends know about our exciting transition! Also, take the opportunity to invite a friend to join us in this adventure together!
• Help us move: we need heavy lifters, packers, organizers, all types! We will keep presenting opportunities to lend a hand, or contact the Church Office at 305-235-6651.
• Welcome others to our new church home! Beginning on January 21, we will need people to help with parking, greeting, and orienting all of us. Contact us at 305-235-6651 to help roll out the welcome mat!
