Friends and Faith
For many regular church attenders one of the major factors that keeps them returning to worship week after week is not just the music or the preaching, but the opportunity to reconnect with friends. We know that church is not primarily a social club, but there’s everything right with building strong relationships with others who share our faith.
In fact, God’s design for the Christian faith is that we never go it alone. We were made with a need to connect with others and to do life together. So we celebrate life’s moments together, big and small. We share triumphs and tragedies together. And we grow closer to God as we grow closer to others.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Who is keeping you sharp?
Blessings,
Pastor Paul Cook
