Me and My Shadow
When I was very young, I was fascinated at the way my shadow would follow me around. No matter where I went, or what I did, it would stick to my every move. Like it or not, it was there to stay. But sometimes, when you’re little and alone, it feels good to have some company, even if it’s just your shadow.
Like our shadow, God is always with us, and like it or not, refuses to abandon us. There may be moments in life where we try to avoid God, but God never abandons us. It’s good to know that God is always as close to us as our shadow.
