Working from Home
Many Christians observe today as Ascension Day, the day when Jesus ascended to be with his Father in heaven, leaving the disciples staring into the sky. The Bible tells us about it in the first few verses of the book of Acts.
I recently heard someone say that this is relatable to our current circumstances, because when Jesus ascended into heaven he started working from home!
To be sure, we do not have the benefit of seeing Jesus walking and talking around physically, like the first disciples did. But this points to the importance of our role as the hands and feet of Jesus. Jesus is very much at work in the world today–through the things that you do.
How will Jesus be at work through the things you say and do today?
