Everyone Is Gifted

We usually describe gifted people in a way that says something exceptional about them. Many schools offer gifted programs for their top students. Or we might say that someone with amazing musical ability is truly gifted.

But the Bible speaks of being gifted by God’s Spirit in a way that is universal, a common characteristic of all Christians. Every Christian is given a gift by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work that God calls us to do. An important part of our faith is using the gifts that have been given to us by God.
