Priority Mail

Priority Mail

It’s interesting to notice how our relationship with mail has changed over the years:

Some of the oldest among us have never sent or received an email. And many still write and send letters by hand on a regular basis, with a stamp and everything!

By contrast, many of us depend heavily on email every single day. According to some studies, workers average about 50% of their workday sending and receiving emails–plus more after hours!

But recently, a lot of people have found email clunky and archaic, preferring to use text messaging and social media. For this bunch, receiving a personal letter in the mail is a rare treat!

Over the next few weeks in worship we will be looking at letters from Jesus to churches that are now nearly 2,000 years old. These letters are found in the book of Revelation, chapters 2-3. Although they weren’t originally addressed to us, we will find that Jesus writes a lot of important things for the people of Cornerstone Church. It’s Priority Mail for us.

Join us every Sunday online at 10:00 a.m. as we read the mail together!
