Seeing Jesus

Seeing Jesus

Imagine that you’re going about your business, when Jesus bursts in unannounced and says, “Come on, let’s go!”

What would you do? Would you get up and follow, without knowing where he’s taking you? Would you try to get more details to determine whether following Jesus is worth your while? Would you decide it’s just not worth it, and return to your former life?

Each of us faces a decision very much like this: Jesus shows up in our life and calls us to follow. The truth is, following Jesus does often involve embarking into the unknown. And we often prefer a known past to an unknown future.

But a decision to follow means that we know Jesus himself. It’s a life of commitment and trust. And it’s a life of being at the very center of God’s will. Join us for worship this Sunday, as we explore seeing Jesus in our life!

Blessings,

Pastor Paul Cook
