God’s Ways

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Psalm 25:4

How are we to know God’s ways? Engagement of scriptures, prayers, and journaling are some of the ways we can be taught God’s paths. The Bible tells the whole story of God’s great rescue plan through the fulfillment of Jesus. We can know much about God’s ways by looking at Jesus’s life, ministry, death, and resurrection by reading the Bible or listening to Bible podcasts. Through careful examination of your personal experience with the Holy Spirit is another way we can know God’s ways. How God communicates – the “voice of God” as it were, becomes more recognizable the more you listen. Journaling is a way to reflect on how God has intervened in answered prayers. It also can show patterns of thinking and growth in us. These spiritual practices are means to know God’s ways and enable us to follow God’s paths. Try one out!
