God’s Abundant Blessing

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

This week, the church saw God’s provision and blessing in a tangible way. Church leaders, Finance and Trustees Committees, have been wracking our brains trying to figure out how we would have enough funds for all the repairs at the parsonage and renovations for the sanctuary to be completed. By accident, it was forgotten that several items were pre-paid but not subtracted from the total of what remained to be paid out. This discovery led to the proposed amount needed for all our needs. The projected start date for Sanctuary renovations is August 1st. God’s blessing is abundant, and it is for good work. When the Sanctuary is completed we will be able to do ministry for and with so many more people. Our impact will be expanded. God’s kingdom and our congregation will grow. Thank you, God, for your abundance and blessing for the work that has already been done at Cornerstone and all that will in the time to come!
