Good Works
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
You are God’s prized and beloved child. You are a masterpiece of God’s craftsmanship and creativity. God created you and indeed all people for a specific function. In the same way that Adam was created to exercise good works in the garden, you have been created for a purpose. As you become a co-laborer with God, let your talents be honed for the good works that God desires. Your good work doesn’t have to be grandiose. You could be the link between a few of your neighbors or in the classroom. It could be donating time to an orphanage. It could even be setting aside time for God to heal and develop you. The point is, you have some expertise, varied as it might be. Use whatever God gives you to do good works!
In Christ,
