Do It All For The Glory Of God!
January 2025
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31
Every New Year’s Eve we set new goals or intentions for the year. Most of these goals are abandoned by Valentine’s Day. Instead, this year, I suggest you set Christ-centered goals, use scripture as your inspiration, and then make “Smart Goals.” Feel free to use this sample as a guide. Blessings to you on your discipleship path this year!
Set Christ-Centered Goals
Rather than simply creating resolutions, set goals that glorify God and align with His will for your life.Practical Tips:
- Evaluate different areas of your life—spiritual, relational, financial, and physical—and prayerfully consider where God may be calling you to grow.
- Write down S.M.A.R.T. goals that reflect biblical principles. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. For example: Exercise more- is not measurable or specific- I will jog twice a week is!) Include accountability by sharing your goals with a trusted friend or mentor.
In Christ,
