Framily

Framily

You might be familiar with the term “framily”; it’s a mashup of the two words “friends” and “family.” Framily are friends who are so close that you might think of them as more like family. In fact, you might be closer to friends like these than to some of your actual family members.

There’s another key aspect to framily: you can choose who your friends are, whereas you might not have any say about your family members. Framily relationships are intentional. We seek them out, we develop them, we are fulfilled by them.

What if we were more intentional about all our relationships? Granted, some people are easier to get along with than others. But what if we were deliberate about strengthening the ties we have with the people around us? Is it possible that more people could become like family in our lives?

Blessings,
Pastor Paul Cook
