The Generous Life
Americans generally enjoy a life of plenty. Most of the time we take full grocery shelves for granted. But there are a few occasions when we face the threat of scarcity.
When a hurricane is on its way, for example, water is quickly cleared off the shelves and lines grow long at grocery stores, home improvement stores, and gas stations. During the pandemic, toilet paper and hand sanitizer have been in short supply.
Many of us also know the fear of running out of money. In a life filled with uncertainties, how can we ever be sure that we have enough for every contingency? How could we possibly think about sharing with others when we can’t be certain we’ll have enough for ourselves?
This Sunday we will begin looking at how to live a generous life. Be sure to join us for online worship!
Blessings,
