Making a Recommendation

Making a Recommendation

Suppose someone were to ask you: What’s your favorite local restaurant? Where’s the best place for auto repair? Where do you like to get a haircut? Most of us would have quick answers for these questions, especially if we’ve lived in the same area for a while.

It’s not hard for us to make a recommendation for a person or business that we really value. And if we’ve had an especially positive experience, we want to share that with others. We want them to experience what we have.

What about your experience of God’s work in your life? Sometimes we think it’s weird to share our faith with others. Maybe we’re afraid to come across as pushy or fanatical. But if we’ve had a life-changing encounter with Jesus, wouldn’t we want others to have the same experience? What people in your life need you to tell them about Jesus today?

Blessings,
Pastor Paul Cook
