Welcome to the House of the Lord!

A song of ascents. Of David. I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”   Psalm 122:1 NIV

Now is the time to sing for joy and to return to in-person worship! David was overjoyed to go to the big party inside God’s house. The party where his friends and fellow believers were, where new people he had yet to meet, was a par-tay! We can expect the same at Cornerstone this Sunday! Something incredible happens when God’s people share the same space, feel the Spirit move, hear the tenderness of earnest voices. Zoom is good for some connection, but there is nothing quite like voices of praise, grief, petition, song, and prayer or a sudden flood of emotion that cannot be explained away by background noise or with a mute button. Do you hear what I hear? The Holy Spirit is calling, “come into the Lord’s house. There is a place for you here.” I am rejoicing about worshipping with you!
