A New School Year

A New School Year

Pray without ceasing.  1 Thessalonians 5;17 ESV

As students, teachers, staff, and families prepare for the start of the school year, the normal excitement and nervous energy mounts. I encourage you to join in prayer with and for all those involved. The days leading up to the first day of school and indeed the first month or so tend to be the hardest for adjustments. Little children have a hard time leaving their parents and their parents may not want to let go! The passage of time and seeing a child grow is bittersweet. Teachers play a key role in the formation of children’s lives. Pray for all those in transition no matter their age or role. Pray without ceasing!

In Christ,
Rev. Elyse Milligan Nielsen
