God’s Beauty

God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11

What is beauty? Most of us have an understanding of beauty, but most of would say that everything is not beautiful. The writer of Ecclesiastes affirmed God’s work in and through us in all circumstances and that every movement of life and death can be beautiful. It is a comfort to know that God’s continuous love story for us and all humanity in every generation is part of a much bigger story and plan than we even know. What we know is the enormity of God, but that is just a slice. May each of us have perspective on what may seem like the utmost importance at the time, but it is just a snapshot in God’s grand timeline. The through line of the story is that it belongs to God and God makes everything beautiful in its time.
