This reflects our deep belief that Christians are called to grow in our own faith while also having an impact on the world around us.
HISTORY
Cornerstone Church was started in 2015 through the merger of two long-standing congregations: Perrine-Peters United Methodist Church and Cutler Ridge United Methodist Church. We came together through a shared vision that as one church we could focus our efforts on helping people to grow closer to Jesus, to grow closer to each other, and to make a real difference in the world, both locally and globally.

Cornerstone Church is part of The United Methodist Church, a diverse connection of church communities worldwide that is committed to putting faith into action.
Here in Florida we are connected to other United Methodist congregations to form the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church .
The Pastor
Rev. Elyse Milligan Nielsen is thrilled to serve God at Cornerstone and the people of Cutler Bay. Pastor Elyse champions learning while leading, spiritual development, community involvement, faith with practical life applications, and love of God’s people everywhere.
